In addition to all of the requirements of ISO 9001, AS9100 contains many added requirements. Among these are Configuration, Program Management, Risk Management added purchasing information requirements, first article inspection, added non-conforming material requirements.

AS9100 is the only QMS with a scoring system and internet posting of the audit results. See the OASIS database.  Note: this has recently changed. AS9100 revision C will not use a scoring system.

Standardize checklist is AS9101 and a standardized first article form AS9102.

You may already know that the AS9100 has been revised to revision C.  Certified companies will have 30 months to up date their QMS to the C revision; July 2012.
