Cut Quality

To ensure quality, we work with you to complete your drawing file and cut your project just the way you want it. Cut quality (degree of smoothness) is customizable for each element of your design. This controls costs and gives you the cut you need.

Cut qualities are defined on a scale from 1 to 5

1. Very rough cut – fast and cheap.
2. Rough cut surface typical of pre-welding.
3. Our normal cut surface – about 125 RMS.
4. Fine cut for precision holes and pre-tap preparation.
5. Very fine cut for the best finish and precision – slow and higher cost.
